Approach

Since 2010, I have been photographing the Gaspé Peninsula from every angle possible. In addition to a reporting-style approach, including taking environmental portraits of Gaspesians, I continue to practice landscape photography while at the same time taking close ups of these same landscapes, which brings out another view of the world or creates a new universe. Some consider the latter “visual poetry,” where many meanings or interpretations are possible depending on the viewer’s perspective. At the same time, I continue the exploration of contemplative photography and non-figurative art.
